Georgia Demetriou

Georgia Demetriou is a student at the Cyprus University of Technology, in the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts. During her internship at Lemesos 2030, she took on the role of digital creator, focusing on content creation for social media, such as posts, stories, templates, and posters, bringing her passion for photography into her work. She appreciates the creative and inclusive environment at Lemesos 2030, which continues to inspire her even after the internship. As someone born and raised in Limassol, this city of contrasts is her home. She has witnessed its changes over the years, experiencing both its positive and negative aspects. She desires to see it become greener, more welcoming to all residents, both new and old, and hopes for it to become the European Capital of Culture in 2030. Georgia is passionate about visual communication and design, with the goal of contributing to this change while advocating for equality, inclusion, and community participation.
